06:21 AM EDT, 09/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Meta (META), Apple ( AAPL ) , Microsoft ( MSFT ) , and Alphabet's Google ( GOOG ) leaders are expected to attend an artificial intelligence event convened by First Lady Melania Trump Thursday and then join President Donald Trump for an evening reception, The Hill reported Wednesday, citing a White House official.

The guest list reportedly also includes OpenAI's Sam Altman, Alphabet executives Sergey Brin and Sundar Pichai, and Microsoft ( MSFT ) co-founder Bill Gates.

The first lady's presidential challenge will encourage students to use AI to find community solutions and promote the adoption of AI in classrooms, the media outlet reported.

Meta, Apple ( AAPL ), Microsoft ( MSFT ), Alphabet, and OpenAI did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
