01:46 PM EST, 01/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Uber Technologies ( UBER ) sued a group of law firms, doctors and pain-management clinics for allegedly staging fake car accidents and performing unnecessary surgeries to take advantage of New York's no-fault insurance policies, Bloomberg reported Thursday.

Uber ( UBER ) did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

Shares were edging 0.6% lower in recent trading.
