06:48 AM EST, 11/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Uber Technologies ( UBER ) seeks to invest more than $10 million in Pony AI's (PONY) estimated $260 million initial public offering, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Bloomberg reported that Uber ( UBER ) may also consider using China-based Pony AI autonomous driving technology outside of the US.

Discussions are ongoing and the scale of the investment remains uncertain, the report said

The report said that pony AI plans to price the offering next week after upsizing it.

Uber ( UBER ) and Pony AI did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
