10:43 AM EDT, 05/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Uber Technologies ( UBER ) is expected to start operating in Slovenia from May 20, STA reported, citing the US Embassy in Ljubljana.

The Slovenian law requires a taxi to use a taximeter and Uber ( UBER ) would operate "within the framework of existing legislation," the news report states, citing the country's Environment Ministry.

Uber ( UBER ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
