01:25 PM EDT, 08/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Uber Technologies ( UBER ) is working on a rides option for children 10 to 12 years old, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing publicly available code from the latest version of Uber's ( UBER ) iOS app.

The potential feature would allow adults to add a "tween" to their Uber Family profile and require that an adult be present during pick-up or drop-off, the report said. Uber ( UBER ) currently has a service for teens 13 to 17 years old.

Uber ( UBER ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
