06:01 AM EDT, 06/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- UBS Group's ( UBS ) company data was stolen in a cyber attack on one of its suppliers, Le Temps reported Tuesday, citing German specialist service Inside IT.
The Zurich-based bank reportedly confirmed no client data was affected, and it took immediate action upon learning of the incident.
Le Temps reported that the data, including information on more than 130,000 employees, was published on the dark web after a ransomware attack on procurement provider Chain IQ.
Chain IQ confirmed the attack but did not specify which data was compromised, the news outlet reported.
Among the leaked information was CEO Sergio Ermotti's phone number, along with employee addresses and office floor details, Le Temps reported.
UBS did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
Shares of the company were down by more than 1.5% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
