06:07 AM EDT, 03/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- UBS (UBS) is nearing a deal to settle with whistleblower Trevor Murray, a former bond analyst who alleged that the bank fired him in 2012 for refusing to publish misleading research, Reuters reported Thursday, citing a court filing.

The Swiss bank and the analyst anticipate a final settlement within 30 days, Reuters reported.

UBS did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
