04:42 PM EDT, 10/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- UBS Group ( UBS ) has shelved a planned risk transfer deal tied to about 2 billion francs ($2.5 billion) of loans, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The bank had discussed the transaction with investors for months and planned to issue the securities through J-Elvetia, a vehicle inherited from Credit Suisse, the report said.
UBS is also exploring a smaller $1 billion deal linked to corporate loans, according to the report.
UBS did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment on the matter.
