Market Chatter: Unilever Proposes Peter ter Kulve as CEO of Ice Cream Business

10:24 AM EDT, 06/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Unilever ( UL ) has proposed Peter ter Kulve as chief executive of its Magnum Ice Cream business, which will list in Amsterdam by year's end and is home to brands such as Ben & Jerry's ( UL ), Cornetto and Wall's, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing a Unilever ( UL ) spokesperson.

The spokesperson reportedly said that approval of the full board of Magnum Ice Cream by Unilever's ( UL ) board is expected next month.

Ter Kulve, who currently serves as president of the ice cream business, has been accused by the board of Ben & Jerry's ( UL ) of "eye-popping" ignorance, according to the report.

Unilever ( UL ) and Ben & Jerry's ( UL ) didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
