01:28 PM EDT, 06/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- United Airlines (UAL) is getting delivery of six Boeing's ( BA ) 737 Max 9 jets per month as part of its fleet restructuring strategy to accommodate the delay in Max 10 jets, Bloomberg News reported Monday, citing United's Chief Executive Scott Kirby.
These deliveries will reduce the count on United Airline's order for larger Boeing 737 Max 10, the report quoted Kirby as saying at the sideline of the International Air Transport Association conference in Dubai.
United Airlines initially ordered 277 Max 10s with delivery of 80 jets this year, according to the report.
Neither United Airlines nor Boeing ( BA ) immediately responded to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
