10:27 AM EDT, 04/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- United Airlines (UAL) is asking pilots to take unpaid time off in May and potentially other summer months due to a delay in Boeing ( BA ) aircraft deliveries, CNBC reported Monday, citing a note from the pilots' union.
United confirmed the request for voluntary unpaid time off, CNBC said.
The airline did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
