12:15 PM EDT, 08/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- US Steel's Clairton plant in Pennsylvania was rocked by a reported explosion Monday, leaving multiple people injured, CBS News reported.

First responders were called to the scene, and the Allegheny County Health Department was monitoring air quality in the surrounding area, the report said.
