12:06 PM EDT, 04/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- A US appeals court ruled Friday the Department of Justice can reopen an antitrust investigation into the policies of the National Association of Realtors, Bloomberg reported.
The US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit rejected a bid by the real estate group to enforce a 2020 settlement with the Trump administration to end the probe, the report said.
The realtor group didn't have an immediate comment, and the Justice Department didn't respond to a request for comment, Bloomberg reported.
The group and the Justice Department did not immediately reply to requests for comment by MT Newswires.
Zillow Group ( ZG ) and Re/Max ( RMAX ) shares eased 0.1% in recent trading Friday, paring earlier losses.
