12:41 PM EDT, 03/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The US government has paused contributions to the World Trade Organization pending a review, Reuters reported Thursday, citing trade sources.
The Geneva-based trade watchdog was informed during a budget meeting in early March that the US was pausing contributions while it reviews payments to international organizations, Reuters reported.
It was unclear when the US would inform the WTO of the outcome of the review.
