06:19 AM EDT, 08/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The US Postal Service or USPS has blocked Demand Vape from using its services in distributing electronic nicotine delivery systems, or ENDS, as the postal office cracks down on distributors of unregulated vapes, Reuters reported Monday, citing the letter USPS sent to Demand Vape.
Reuters said unregulated vapes are not approved by the US Food and Drug Administration and that USPS revoked Demand Vape's mailing exception in July based on evidence that the company had shipped unregulated vapes.
According to the report, the crack down is set to benefit major tobacco companies such as British American Tobacco ( BTI ) and Altria Group ( MO ) .
The US Postal Service, Altria Group ( MO ), and British American Tobacco ( BTI ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
