09:54 AM EST, 03/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- US President Donald Trump is set to speak with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Wednesday, a day after the 25% tariff on imports from Canada officially took effect, Reuters reported, citing a source familiar with the matter.

According to the report, Canada also announced retaliatory measures in response to the US tariff.
