Oct 21, 2025 5:44 AM

08:04 AM EDT, 10/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Venture Global ( VG ) has asked the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for permission to introduce natural gas by Thursday into the final block of its Plaquemines LNG facility in Louisiana, Reuters reported late Monday, citing a regulatory filing.

If approved by the regulator, Venture Global ( VG ) will be able to produce liquefied natural gas from its entire Plaquemines plant over a year ahead of the scheduled provision of the resource with its first set of long-term customers, the report said.

The facility has a full capacity of 27.2 million metric tons per annum, the report added.

Venture Global ( VG ) did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
