05:55 AM EDT, 08/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Verint Systems ( VRNT ) is close to being acquired by private-equity firm Thoma Bravo is a deal valuing the call center software maker at about $2 billion, including debt, Bloomberg News reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.

An agreement could be announced as soon as Monday, the unnamed sources told the news outlet.

Verint ( VRNT ) and Thoma Bravo didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.

Verint ( VRNT ) shares were up nearly 22% in recent premarket activity.
