03:19 PM EDT, 10/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Walmart ( WMT ) appointed Seth Dallaire as chief growth officer in the US, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing a memo from Walmart U.S. Chief Executive John Furner.

In the newly created position, Dallaire will oversee marketing, design and product teams in addition to running Walmart's ( WMT ) non-retail businesses, according to the report.

Dallaire joined Walmart ( WMT ) in 2021 as chief revenue officer, the report added.

Jon Alferness, chief product officer in the US, will leave the company, but will remain on an advisory role until the end of the year, Furner reportedly said in the memo.

Walmart ( WMT ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
