10:25 AM EST, 11/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Walmart ( WMT ) imported at least 340,000 kilos of Christmas goods into the US in the 12 months ended Sept. 30, down from the more than 980,000 kilos in the previous 12 months, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing US import data from ImportYeti.

The retailer imported at least 1.9 million of Christmas goods in the 12 months ended Sept. 30, 2022, the report said.

Bill of lading data only show "a partial picture of what we source due to the exclusion of data from marketplace, national brands, and domestic importer data for private brands, among other things," a Walmart ( WMT ) spokesperson said, according to the report.

Walmart ( WMT ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

Walmart ( WMT ) shares were up 1.1% in recent trading.
