03:48 PM EDT, 05/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Walt Disney's ( DIS ) Marvel unit's move "Thunderbolts" earned $162 million worldwide during its opening weekend, marking a strong start to the summer box-office season, multiple media outlets reported.

The film made $76 million in North America, the reports said.

Disney ( DIS ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
