Market Chatter: Warner Bros. Discovery Scraps 'Hogwarts Legacy' Expansion Plan
Mar 28, 2025 4:54 AM

07:31 AM EDT, 03/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Warner Bros. Discovery ( WBD ) has shelved a planned content expansion for the "Hogwarts Legacy" game as part of an ongoing restructuring at its video game business, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

The planned expansion would have added new storylines to the title, according to the report. However, the project was canceled amid concerns that the amount of content was not significant enough to justify the price being contemplated, the unnamed sources told the news outlet.

Warner Bros. did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
