Market Chatter: XPeng to Recall Over 47,000 P7+ EVs Over Steering Assist Issue
Sep 12, 2025 4:19 AM

06:49 AM EDT, 09/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- XPeng ( XPEV ) will recall 47,490 P7+ electric sedans starting September 15 due to a possible power steering assist failure, Reuters reported Friday, citing China's market regulator.

The report said cars made between August 2024 and April may have loose wiring in the steering sensors, which could trigger a warning light and disable the steering assist system, citing the State Administration for Market Regulation.
