08:45 AM EDT, 07/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ZimVie ( ZIMV ) is in advanced talks with dental implant maker Osstem Implant, which has submitted a final bid to acquire ZimVie ( ZIMV ), Bloomberg News reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Osstem has been securing financing for a potential deal, the report said, citing the sources.

The talks could still fall apart and other suitors could emerge, Bloomberg said.

ZimVie ( ZIMV ) and Osstem did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

Shares of ZimVie ( ZIMV ) were up 14.8% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
