09:40 AM EST, 01/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Markforged Holding ( MKFG ) said Thursday that a lawsuit has been filed in relation to its proposed merger with Nano Dimension ( NNDM ) , with Markforged ( MKFG ) named as a defendant.

The lawsuit, filed by Desktop Metal ( DM ) on Tuesday, claims that Nano breached its agreement with Desktop Metal ( DM ) by entering into the merger agreement with Markforged ( MKFG ).

Desktop Metal ( DM ) seeks an injunction to prevent the merger from closing before its own deal with Nano is completed, Markforged ( MKFG ) said.

Markforged ( MKFG ) said it believes the claims are "without merit" and intends to defend itself "vigorously."

Nano Dimension ( NNDM ) and Desktop Metal ( DM ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
