03:36 PM EDT, 07/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Marriott International ( MAR ) said Wednesday it has finalized its purchase of the creative lifestyle brand CitizenM, expanding lodging options for guests and Marriott Bonvoy members in locations globally.

The existing CitizenM global portfolio features 37 operational hotels, totaling 8,789 rooms, in over 20 cities throughout the U.S., Europe, and Asia Pacific.

CitizenM's current pipeline includes two hotels with more than 300 rooms, which are expected to join Marriott's ( MAR ) collection.

After integration is completed, CitizenM will be an actively engaged brand in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program, providing members with enhanced value, the company said.
