Marriott International Launches Environmental Impact Reports for Events

04:12 AM EDT, 10/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Marriott International ( MAR ) said Monday it has launched a new program aimed at introducing environmental sustainability into the event-planning industry.

The Connect Responsibly initiative will offer customers of Marriott's ( MAR ) events reports measuring the environmental impact of their gatherings and options to purchase carbon credits, in collaboration with South Pole, a carbon asset developer and climate consultancy.
