06:30 AM EDT, 05/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Marriott International ( MAR ) announced Thursday that it has launched a new brand of midscale and upscale lodging called Series by Marriott ( MAR ).

The company said the lodging line is expected to draw other regional brands and hotels into the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio.

The launch coincides with its deal to affiliate with Concept Hospitality's The Fern, The Fern Residency, and The Fern Habitat brands in India.

Under the deal, Marriott ( MAR ) will also make a small equity investment in Concept Hospitality.
