10:50 AM EST, 12/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Marriott International ( MAR ) said Monday it has signed an agreement with Xiamen Green Development Investment Group to launch the Ritz-Carlton brand on Xiamen Island in China's Fujian province.

The Ritz-Carlton Xiamen will be in a mixed-use development with retail spaces and a 340-meter office tower, Marriott ( MAR ) said.
