09:59 AM EDT, 10/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Marriott International ( MAR ) said Friday it has signed an agreement with Shum Yip Holdings to launch The Luxury Collection and AC Hotels by Marriott ( MAR ) in Shenzhen, China.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

The new hotel chains are expected to open in November 2028, the company added.

Marriott ( MAR ) said it currently has more than 20 properties across 13 brands in Shenzhen.
