05:54 AM EDT, 03/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Marriott International's ( MAR ) Ritz-Carlton Hotel said Tuesday it has opened its first hotel in the city of Suzhou, located in China's Jiangsu province.

The hotel brand's debut in Suzhou is part of Marriott's ( MAR ) strategy of expanding luxury hospitality in Greater China, according to Bart Buiring, a Marriott International ( MAR ) managing director in China.

According to the statement, The Ritz-Carlton in Suzhou features 190 guest rooms and suites, three restaurants, and other facilities.
