12:16 PM EST, 03/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Marvell Technology ( MRVL ) said Thursday that it is expanding its collaboration with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ( TSM ) to develop the technology platform for the production of 2-nanometer semiconductors.

According to Marvell ( MRVL ), the 2nm semiconductors will serve as the foundation for producing custom compute accelerators, Ethernet switches, interconnect digital signal processors, and other devices for accelerated infrastructure.

The company said the 2nm collaboration follows their partnership in 5nm and 3nm platforms.
