Masco Recommends Shareholders to Reject TRC Capital Unsolicited Mini-Tender Offer

05:53 PM EDT, 06/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Masco ( MAS ) said Wednesday it received an unsolicited mini-tender offer by TRC Capital Investment of Ontario, Canada to buy for cash up to 2 million outstanding shares of the company at $64 a piece.

The offer is for about 0.9% of Masco's ( MAS ) outstanding shares as of Tuesday, according to the company.

Masco ( MAS ) said it does not endorse the unsolicited mini-tender offer and recommends shareholders not tender their shares as the offer is underpriced and subject to numerous conditions. Masco ( MAS ) shares closed Wednesday at $68.98.

The tender offer expires on July 11.
