06:27 AM EDT, 09/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Masimo ( MASI ) activist shareholder Politan Capital Management said Thursday that its independent nominees, Darlene Solomon and William Jellison, were elected to Masimo's ( MASI ) board based on a proxy solicitor's preliminary analysis of the results of Masimo's ( MASI ) annual meeting.

Politan Capital owns a 9% stake in Masimo ( MASI ). The activist shareholder said last week that a California judge denied Masimo's ( MASI ) request for a preliminary injunction that would stop Politan from voting proxies it had collected for the shareholder vote.

Masimo ( MASI ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
