Masimo Responds to Claims by Shareholder Activist Politan Capital
Apr 1, 2024 6:42 AM

09:19 AM EDT, 04/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Masimo ( MASI ) said Monday that activist shareholder Politan Capital Management's efforts to take control of the health technology company are not in "stockholders' best interests."

Masimo ( MASI ) said Politan is making efforts to take control of the board of directors and unseat the company's chairman and chief executive officer, Joe Kiani.

The company rejected Politan's claims that Kiani refused to give them information, that they were denied access to management, and that the board provided no details on a proposed separation.

Politan did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
