Mastercard planning to cut global workforce by 3%, Bloomberg News reports

(Reuters) -Payments processor Mastercard ( MA ) plans to cut its global workforce by 3%, Bloomberg News reported on Friday, citing a spokesperson.

The company did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

Purchase, New York-based Mastercard ( MA ) had 33,400 employees at the end of last year, according to its annual report.
