07:26 AM EDT, 09/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Matador Resources ( MTDR ) said Thursday it closed its $1.83 billion acquisition of an Ameredev II subsidiary from EnCap Investments.

The company said the acquisition includes about 33,500 acres in the Delaware Basin, with production expected to average 25,500 to 26,500 barrels of oil and natural gas equivalent per day through Q3 2024.

It also encompasses 431 operated locations, 118 million barrels of oil in proved reserves, and a 19% stake in Pinon Midstream's parent company, it added.
