11:13 AM EDT, 05/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Mativ Holdings ( MATV ) said Thursday its polymer film brand Argotec received its first order of materials, used in Miru Smart Technologies' electrochromic window automotive technology, from a leading glass manufacturer.

Miru works with glass manufacturers and vendors in the supply chain to innovate dynamic electrochromic windows facilitated by Argotec's thermoplastic polyurethane interlayer film, according to a statement.

The commercial order builds on Mativ's ( MATV ) partnership with Miru, paving the way for creating a supply chain for large-scale production of electrochromic glass by automotive original equipment manufacturers, the company said.

It added that Argotec and Miru will present their joint product innovation at Glass Performance Days 2025 in Finland between June 10 and 12.
