Mattel, Warner Bros. Discovery Sign Multi-Year Licensing Agreement

12:32 PM EST, 02/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Mattel ( MAT ) and Warner Bros. Discovery's ( WBD ) Global Consumer Products division said Thursday they signed a multi-year global licensing agreement for DC stories and characters.

Under this deal, Mattel ( MAT ) will develop and market DC-themed action figures, playsets, accessories, role-play products, and adult collectibles, which will begin rolling out globally in H2 2026, the companies said.

The agreement covers the entire DC library, featuring characters such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Joker, and Harley Quinn, it added.

Financial details were not disclosed.
