03:04 PM EST, 02/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Matthews International ( MATW ) said Thursday that shareholders voted to elect all three of its recommended director nominees at the 2025 annual meeting, based on preliminary results.

The company nominated Terry Dunlap, Alvaro Garcia-Tunon and J. Michael Nauman. The slate was challenged by activist investor Barrington Capital Group, who in a proxy fight recommended its own nominees, Ana Amicarella, Chan Galbato and James Mitarotonda.

The final results are expected to be provided in a Form 8-K, the company said in a press release.
