Maximus Retains Contact Center Operations Contract After Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Cancel Early Re-Procurement

04:24 AM EST, 11/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Maximus ( MMS ) said late Tuesday it will continue to provide contact center operations services for 1-800-Medicare and Federal Marketplace after the US Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services cancelled an early re-procurement.

The re-procurement of the contract would have caused the company to recompete for the same scope of work it currently performs, Maximus ( MMS ) said.

The company said its current contract has retained its available option periods until 2031.
