Mayfair Gold Names Nicholas Campbell as CEO

12:14 PM EST, 01/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Mayfair Gold ( MFGCF ) on Tuesday appointed Nicholas Campbell, its Vice President of Capital Markets, as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective Jan. 27.

He succeeds Darren McLean, who has served as interim CEO since July 7, McLean will remain as chair of the company's board.

"We are excited for Nicholas to move into the CEO role to lead Mayfair as the company advances the Fenn-Gib gold project in Ontario," said McLean. "Nick recently served as Vice President of Capital Markets at Artemis Gold and Executive Vice President of Business Development at SilverCrest Metals. This provides Nick with invaluable experience to help navigate Mayfair as the company shifts its focus at Fenn-Gib from exploration to development and production."

Mayfair shares were last seen up $0.07 to $1.72 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
