10:34 AM EDT, 03/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- MCAN Mortgage Corporation ( MAMTF ) d/b/a MCAN Financial Group (MKP.TO) on Thursday announced that it has closed its previously announced overnight marketed offering of common shares.

The company issued1.87 million common shares at $15.40 each for aggregate gross proceeds of $28.8 million. This includes the full exercise of the over-allotment option.

Net proceeds will be used for MCAN's residential mortgage lending and residential construction lending business.
