05:17 PM EDT, 03/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- MCAN Mortgage ( MAMTF ) after trade on Monday said Derek Sutherland has been appointed as president and chief executive officer, effective April 1.

Sutherland has acted as interim CEO for the past four months and has chaired the board of directors since 2020.

He will step down as board chair and Gaelen Morphet, lead director of the board, will assume the role.

MCAN closed up $0.40 to $18.40 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
