McDonald's, Entertainment Studios Network Reach Confidential Settlement
Jun 13, 2025 11:25 AM

02:11 PM EDT, 06/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- McDonald's (MCD) and Entertainment Studios Network/The Weather Group reached a confidential commercial agreement to settle pending litigation.

As part of the settlement, Entertainment Studios Network will dismiss its lawsuit against McDonald's in US District Court.

Under the agreement, McDonald's is not admitting wrongdoing and will continue buying advertising from Entertainment Studios Network "in a manner that aligns with its advertising strategy and commercial objectives," the fast-food company said Friday in a statement.

Advertisements will be priced at market value, the company said.

"We acknowledge McDonald's commitment to investing in Black-owned media properties and increasing access to opportunity," ESN said in the statement. "Our differences are behind us, and we look forward to working together."
