01:12 PM EDT, 09/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- MCF Energy ( MCFNF ) on Monday said re-drilling continues at its Kinsau-1A well in Germany.

Kinsau-1A is a re-entry and redrill of the historic Kinsau-1 discovery well, originally drilled by Mobil in 1983.

Drillng reached a depth of 3,022 meters on Sept.8. As of Sept.10. The company highlighted a show of hydrocarbons, including some oil on the mud pits and a drilling rate of 7 and 15 meters per hour.

"Germany has significant natural gas resources within their borders which can reduce imports, keep money in Germany and provide energy security for both personal and industrial needs," chief executive James Hill said.

Shares of MCF Energy ( MCFNF ) were last seen up $0.005 to $0.07 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
