07:14 AM EST, 03/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- MDA Space ( MDALF ) on Friday reported higher adjusted profit and revenue for its fourth-quarter that beat analysts' estimates.
Adjusted net income of $35.1 million or $0.28 per share, was 26% higher than the $27.8 million, or $0.23 per share. The result beat the consensus estimate of $0.26 per share, according to FactSet.
Revenue rose 70% to $346.6 million, driven by strong contributions from Satellite Systems business, and beating the consensus analyst forecast of $319.9 million.
MDA's backlog as of the end of the quarter was $4.39 billion, up from $3.1 billion.
The company expects full-year 2025 revenue to be between $1.50 billion to $1.65 billion, up from $1.08 billion in 2024.
MDA expects first-quarter revenue to be $315 million to $335 million as it executes on its backlog.
