M.D.C. Holdings' Shareholders Approve Sekisui House All-Cash Acquisition

03:54 PM EDT, 04/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- M.D.C. Holdings (MDC) said Tuesday its shareholders approved the previously agreed cash deal between the company and Sekisui House.

A wholly owned unit of Japanese homebuilder Sekisui House agreed to acquire M.D.C for $63 per share, according to a joint statement in January.

The company expects to complete the transaction in Q2.
