05:02 PM EDT, 03/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- MDU Resources ( MDU ) said late Monday it filed a confidential draft registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission for the proposed spinoff of Everus Construction, the company's construction services division.

The company expects the spinoff to be finalized in Q4 2024, subject to final approval by MDU's board.

MDU disclosed in November that it planned to separate the division as a publicly traded company.
