MDU Resources Group Q1 Adjusted Earnings Rise, Operating Revenue Drops

10:21 AM EDT, 05/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- MDU Resources Group ( MDU ) reported Q1 adjusted earnings from continuing operations Thursday of $0.52 per diluted share, up from $0.43 a year earlier.

Two analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.47.

Operating revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $1.21 billion, down from $1.43 billion a year earlier.

Two analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.33 billion.

The company's shares were up 0.8% in recent trading.
